Roleplay- 8th of February

Braith extracts a scorpion from the ground. The creature lashes out its sting making it easier for the little female to disarm it. She then clamps it in her jaws before it can use its pincers.

George is making noise and exploring the burrow. His eyes have only been open for a few days and everything is very new and interesting to him. He sees a dung beetle. Ooh! What is this! He goes over to investigate and bats at it.

>SPLAT<

Now it's not longer moving. He squeaks in frustration. Why won't it move anymore?

Thomas also continued to sleep, unaware of Meepers being nearby.

Kelly after a while, heads into the burrow, curling up around Meepers and Moonslinger's pups to let them feed...She's not sure if Moonslinger's pups will nurse from a strange meerkat or not.

Meepers first investigates the smash dung beetle before being curled up to his mom and begins to nurse hungrily

Twip goes over to Drongos, maybe there is a nest nearby and he can take an egg home to Kelly...Sure enough there is a nest with a few eggs in it, he chirps to Moonslinger about his find, and picks up an egg for Kelly...then goes back on sentry duty with the egg next to him...

Moonslinger hears Twip's peep and pads across the sand to see. She sees the drongo's nest and one remaining egg. She would take it for herself, but she thinks about Sneaky Paw, and how he hadn't foraged for days while looking after the pups. She rolled the egg out and set it by Twip's egg. She'd come and get it when they went back to the burrow.

Kelly nuzzles and grooms Meepers, George, Felix, Thomas, and Eejanaika...

Meepers nuzzles his face into his mother's fur when he is done feeding...content and happy..

Twip takes a short break from sentry duty to eat a scorpion and a millipede then goes right back to watching for dangers

Eejanaika can feel someone touching her and stirs a little but doesn't awaken. She desires to keep on sleeping, not caring that the unidentified individual smells different than her siblings.

George is feeling hungry and begins to feed as well. He abandons the dung beetle as it seems as though that toy is broken now.

Braith continues to munch on the scorpion, savoring every bit of it.

Thomas instinctively nuzzles into Kelly's fur, but like his sister, also continued to sleep. He was content hunger wise, so he didn't need to feed right now.

Another of Moonslinger's pups, Hereford, wriggles around. She's a bit hungry... She's a large female, also a bit stocky... Her face, paws, belly, and tail switch are white, while the rest of her are a reddish brown. She resembles what she's named after, having longer fur than normal as well. Hereford's eyes are open slightly, at 13 days of age. They're a hay yellow color... But, at the same time, she's still young and not completely capable of moving around yet... She tends to eat alot, so peeps hungrily...

Kelly pulls Hereford close to her belly so she can feed

Meepers finds Felix and curls up to her, already liking her for being the first to welcome him here...

Twip scans the horizon, but luckily spots nothing but a grazing gazelle yards away...

Moonslinger yawned as she dug into the sand some more.

Felix pawed at her siblings, bored.

Sneaky Paw glances at the Horizon, his gaze distant and his expression full of sorrow...

Hereford, when full, crawls over to Felix, bored as well.

Eejanaika begins to wriggle about as she comes to from her little snooze. Being 2 weeks old, her eyelids have begun to open, revealing her green orbs. Her vision isn't fully developed yet but she can make out shapes of the individuals and objects around her. She gazes up at Kelly, smiling adorably and emitting cute pupish vocalizations.

Thomas, on the other hand, continues sleeping. He's not a very lazy pup, he just loves to sleep. His eyes were a beautiful deep blue color after they've opened. He continues sleeping, snuggled against Kelly's fur.

Kelly's heart melts, Moonslinger's pups are soo adorable she can't help but love them.

Meepers curls up next to Felix, draping his tail over her. He's going to like it here. He drifts off into a peaceful sleep.

Eejanaika's nose is telling her Kelly is a complete stranger. Her scent is much different from her siblings' but she could care less. All that matters to her is cuddling up with an adult she trusts will keep herself and her siblings safe.

Thomas finally opens his eyes, revealing his sapphire blue eyes. He opens his mouth in a yawn, before stretching out.
