Faith is sunning himself ear his sisters, above ground... Hope is scanning the area. Joy grooms her brother for a bit before beginning to clear the burrow entrance.

Next to emerge is Narelle, taking a brief look around before coming up and standing to sun herself. Obviously still pregnant, she's a little cranky, but optimistic. It's about time for her to give birth, and all seems well, except the litter's biological father is nowhere to be seen. She takes time in this peaceful morning to groom herself as well, planning the day ahead as she grooms herself.

Devraj is positioned at the top of a drie doring bush, appearing to be having no problem keeping himself balanced despite the branch he's standing is quite flimsy and pronouncedly sways in the strong breeze. Very attentively, he scrutinizes the vicinity, ready to alert his fellow mobmates of any threats that may enter his line of site at any moment. Today, he's particularily edgy as it is Narelle's due date to give birth. He's determined not to let any misfortunes befall the mob's invaluable next generation. He'll willingly give his life for them so that they can go on to become successful adults.

ooc: I won't be playing one of Narelle's pups I decided.

Faith, like Devraj, is quite eager to get the day going, and protect the to-be newborns at any costs. He's always been a very valiant male, and will lay down his life for the Holiday Lights. This is his new home. His sisters as well seem to be settling in quite nicely. Faith has gone out of his way to make sure every member of the small group is happy... Hope is a bit more nervous and has thus far stayed in the background. Joy, on the other hand, has made it her personal goal to get to know every single member and let them know that she cares. She's excited for the new pups, babysitting is one of her favorite things to do!

ooc- Wait, so who's DM? And how many members are there currently?

ic- Narelle watches her group casually, rather relaxed considering she's due around this time. They'll head out soon.

ooc: I don't think there is one currently. There are currently 9 members in the Holiday Lights

ooc: I was planning on Devraj establishing dominance but it'll be a gradual process. I kinda want him to work for it ;P As we'll say Xabat was a phenomenal dominant and the members will be apprehensive about a different male taking over, thinking he won't be as successful as Xabat was...or something *shrugs* XD

ooc- Narelle will be open to a new dominant. Maybe we can say Narelle's and Xabat's relationship wasn't the best.

ooc: Alright. I'd be fine with that :]

bic: While watching the Holiday Light individuals that are already up contentedly bask in the toasty sun light below him, Devraj is suddenly struck with a pang of worry as he remembers the mob's size status. This mob is... so small. If they were to come into contact with a rival mob larger than them, they wouldn't stand a chance. What would be even more misfortunate is if they, Heaven forbid, lose more members to predators and disease. Many small groups are plagued by those 2 fate sealing scenarios. He surely hopes none of those transpire in the Holiday Lights. Well, if they're to make it in this volatile place, they need to bolster their numbers before expanding their territory. With Xabat MIA, it's going to be up to one of the Holiday Light males to take it in them to step up and help Narelle steer the mob in the direction of a bright future. Devraj is feeling ambitious, brooding about taking control of the reigns beside Narelle.

Emilie and Juliann emerged together, light coats shining in the sun. Without the old bulk they had now, they stand a lesser chance of survival. Emilie wants to watch Narelle's pups, but recently, Juliann has been having other plans...

Narelle is also well aware that they're short on numbers, which could pose problems when her pups are born, but for now they must make due with what they have. On the bright side they have a nice, clean, and good-sized burrow, and food is well in stock. She looks down at her belly, optimistic about the situation. Chances of this litter surviving are infinitely higher than the first, which she was forced to abort after eviction from her birth mob. She sits down and calmy watches the surroundings, feeling herself exempt from any physical chores of the morning due to the state of her pregnancy. Otherwise, she would help keep the burrow tidy.

Devraj resumes scrutinizing the immediate area for threats such as carnivorous predators and rival gangs, determined not let misfortune befall any of his fellow mobmates, especially Narelle who's carrying the mob's invaluable future.

Chasam wakes up, pretty fresh, and goes up to the top of the burrow . He realizes he woke up a little late , but oh well . He starts to dig up the entrance in the burrow so it won't potentially collapse .

MISS PROMENADE LADY PINK

Miss Promenade Lady Pink wakes up and lays there . She looks around only to see nobody down here with her . She quickly scurries to the top , panicking because no one is with her . As soon as she sees the rest of the family , she chills . She sits down by Narelle and smiles . She starts to groom herself , keeping tidy .

Emilee grooms Narelle.

Juliann sits off of to the side. She was used to having the spotlight... she doesn't want to overthrow their leader or kill her litter, but running away has never seemed so ideal...

Narelle peeps a thanks to Emilee, and grooms Emilee back as well.

ooc- Is everyone up now?

ooc: I think so.

Devraj is beginning to feel eager. Having gone all of yesterday without consuming a single morsel due to being so engrossed in his duty as sentinel, he's famished this morning and can't wait to stuff his face. Hopefully Narelle leads them out foraging soon.

ooc: I think I'll just move my characters out. Without a doubt they'll be ignored anyways. I'm seeing where this is going.

ooc: Don't worry, they won't. Characters getting ignored is a scenario that we won't let get out of control here. We'll ensure that every character gets noticed and is given the chance to interact and respond to social activities and such.

Faith notices Juliann off to the side, and is concerned... Is something wrong? He certainly is worried... Just like he would be for any member of the mob really... He heads over to her and chirps softly...

Hope joins Emilee in grooming the leader...

Narelle peeps a thanks to Hope as well and grooms her back too, before getting on all fours and making lead calls. Time for breakfast.

Having heard Narelle's lead vocalizations, Devraj immediately hops off his sentry post and enthusiastically trots after after the departing mob. Finally, time to go seek out some delectable morsels!

Emilee walks away, but stays close to Hope.

Juliann stays by the back, watching Emilee.

While keeping pace with his swift moving mobmates, Devraj scrutinizes the land and sky for predators and rival mobs. So far, things seem calm. But Devraj stays on alert, knowing danger can cast itself upon this vulnerably small mob at any minute.
